Terms of Service

These terms apply to proposals, orders and catering services provided by Uptown Square Catering Ltd ("Uptown Square", "we", "us") to its clients ("you"). By submitting an enquiry, signing a proposal or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Services
We provide corporate, school, event and aviation catering across Limassol, including buffets, individual pre-ordered meals, breakfast service and on-site canteen support. Specific deliverables, menus, headcount and pricing are confirmed in a written proposal or order confirmation.
2. Quotations and orders
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Orders are confirmed once you accept the proposal in writing (including email).
- Final headcount must be confirmed at least 48 hours before delivery for daily catering, and 5 working days before for events.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices are quoted in EUR and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Invoices are issued monthly for recurring catering and per event for one-off bookings. Payment terms are 14 days from invoice date unless agreed otherwise in your contract. Late payments may incur statutory interest in accordance with Cyprus law.
4. Changes and cancellations
- Headcount increases requested less than 48 hours before delivery are accommodated subject to availability.
- Cancellations made more than 5 working days before an event: no charge.
- Cancellations made 2–5 working days before: 50% of confirmed value.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours: 100% of confirmed value.
5. Delivery and service
Standard lunch deliveries are arranged between 12:00 and 13:30, with alternative windows on request. You are responsible for providing safe access to the delivery location and, where applicable, a suitable serving area, power and water for on-site service.
6. Allergens and dietary requirements
We follow HACCP procedures and are ISO 22000:2018 certified by TÜV Cyprus. Allergen information is available on request. While we take reasonable steps to manage cross-contact, our kitchens handle major allergens (gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame, soy, fish, shellfish) and absolute absence cannot be guaranteed. You must inform us in writing of any severe allergies before an order is confirmed.
7. Equipment and property
Heating cabinets, chafing dishes, serving equipment and other items provided on loan remain our property. You agree to return them clean and undamaged. Lost or damaged equipment will be invoiced at replacement cost.
8. Liability
We are liable for direct losses caused by our breach of these terms, capped at the value of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure, weather, road closures, utility failures, strikes).
9. Confidentiality
Each party will keep confidential any non-public information shared in the course of providing the service and use it only for the purpose of the engagement.
10. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Limassol.
